I was just watching a Let’s Play by SlimNasty and he rased a good point that made me want to ask a few questions

3 min frequency for PAX trains seems to be a good number for most lines but what about Goods Trains and trucks/busses?

also I have never been able to get towns to grow (much) so anytips of payout planing to promote growth ?

Try to expand so the station is in the center, alot just stick it on the side and give no way of crossing the line, make crossings and / bridges so that the town can have twice as much close to the station.

I can’t answer the road cargo side accurately as they have recently buggered up road freight, making it impossible to carry items both ways but generally you need to keep an eye on the production levels in the resource and factory/refinery, if they are not increasing, add an extra truck to get the volume up and also remember that upgrading roads en-route will increase the trucks speed which will encourage more usage as well.
